They say the more you practice something, the better you get. Today we finished at the shop around 5:30pm and had a few hours to enjoy the beautiful spring weather!! That. Never. Happens. Usually we are working until the wee hours of the morning. Ha ha!! So what’d we do? We rode to the grocery store with the windows down! Ha ha!! That’s our idea of an afternoon adventure. Sometimes things like grocery shopping and laundry hit the back burner when you are running a small business. (Don’t hate if I wear dirty jeans to the shop tomorrow!)
But that doesn’t mean that we hit the sack at a decent time… in fact, it’s 11:12pm and I am just starting this three part Junk Shop Tour!! So I imagine, we will be on our computers until, well, the wee hours of the morning!! The hubs is a troooper, watermarking photos while I write and organize the tour! So, here we are… Rusted Roots April Junk Shop Sale. Can you believe it??
Let’s see what we packed in the shop!!
A summer vibe is in store for sure… lots of nautical decor!! Maybe I just need a getaway to the beach!
Or perhaps a round of croquet on a warm Saturday afternoon! I actually thought about keeping a few of these. I think they’d be so cute as wall decor in a grouping of three or so.
We salvaged this amazing kitchen cupboard from a 17 room house near Baltimore, Maryland! She’s an oldie!! And we filled her to the brim…
You would think we raided a chicken farm with all the feeders and waterers we have for this sale! But they are so cute and have such great upcycle potential.
And speaking of upcycle potential… I’ve seen some pretty cute ideas on Pinterest for these old oil cans. Someone last month bought one for her bracelets!! Cute, huh??
And as always, we’ve got our Rusted Roots tees and Junktion Alley jewelry stocked and ready for the road!!
